Studio Facility History
The Cellar Records Recording Co. has a history of three recording studios. The first studio was a residential studio located, where else but in a basement. Hence the name Cellar Records. The first studio operated from 1986 to 1991. The second facility was located in a leased commercial building across from the Dixon Il. High School. This studio operated from 1992-2000. The third studio and our current home was built from the ground up in 2000. We moved in at the start of 2001. This facility was constructed as a recording studio. Great care was taken in the design of the facility.
We have a large live room, a control room, and 2 iso rooms along with office/lounge space. You can check out pictures of the studio on our photo page. Todd is currently working with only a few select artist as time permits. These days Todd's focus has shifted to using the facility primarily for his own production and rehearsal of his band The Revelators. The band recently signed with the TMG Record label. TMG is a branch of the Tate Publishing Co. in Mustang OK.
